Winter Holiday Part 1

A new event for Pokémon GO has been announced, and it is Winter Holiday Part 1. The event runs from Dec 18th, 10 am until Dec 24th, 08:00 pm, and features the debut of costume Sudowoodo (looks like a Christmas tree) and costume Charjabug (looks like a gift).

What to expect

During the event, there will be a GO pass that lasts until Dec 29th. It will give out bonuses at different tiers. Tier 1: 2× XP from sending Gifts, GO Pass Deluxe: 2× Stardust from opening Gifts. Tier 2: Additional items may be rewarded from opening Gifts, GO Pass Deluxe: 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period. Tier 3: 50% more XP for winning Raid Battles, GO Pass Deluxe: 2× XP from catching Pokémon. The GO Pass will include encounters with Snom and other event-themed Pokémon, Stardust, Experience, Poké Ball, Candy, Premium Battle Passes, and more, including a Snom Beaniey. There will also be an increased chance of Shiny Costume Pichu & Costume Cubchoo from 7km Eggs.

Wild encounters

During the event, you will find Swinub, Snorunt, Spheal, Sudowoodo & Charjabug may spawn in the wild.

Raids & Shadow Raids

Sudowoodo, Hisuian Avalugg, and Charjabug will be in 3 Star Raids.

Eggs

Pichu, Smoochum, Cubchoo, Cryogonal, and Snom will be in 7km Eggs.
