Well Armed

A new event for Pokémon GO has been announced, and it's called 'Well Armed'. The event runs from Dec 11th, 10 am, until Dec 16th, 08:00 pm. It features the debut of Clobbopus and its evolution.

What to expect

During the event, you get 2* Catch Candy and an increased chance of shiny Dynamax Hitmonlee and Dynamax Hitmonchan.

Wild encounters

During the event, you will find Poliwag, Machop, Makuhita, and Octillery will spawn in the wild. Clobbopus will not spawn in the wild until a Global Collection Challenge has been completed. More about it under Research.

Max Battles

Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan will appear in max battles during this event.

Research

There will be Global Challenges focused around defeating Max Battles during this event. Once the challenge is complete, Clobbopus will spawn in the wild, alongside Mienfoo and Jangmo-o and you will get increased Candy from Max Battles. There will also be paid Timed Research to get 6 Rare Candy, 3 Rare Candy XL, 1600 Max Particles, and more.
