Vulpix & Alolan Vulpix Com Day

The next Pokémon Go community day has been announced. This time, the featured Pokémon is Vulpix & Alolan Vulpix. The community day is on Feb 1st, starting at 02:00 pm/14:00 local time and ending at 05:00 pm/17:00 local time.

What is boosted during the event?

During the event, you get 3* Catch Experience, 2* Catch Candy, and double the chance to get XL Candy. Incense lasts 3 hours during the event, while Lure Modules last 1 hour from 2 pm until 9 pm. Ninetales & Alolan Ninetales will have Energy Ball and Chilling Water as their moves during the event.

Research

Before and on the day of, you can buy a special research ticket that gives you extra research. It usually costs $1-$2 per ticket or is converted into your country's currency. During and after the day, you will have timed research that gives out rewards as well. Both pieces of research have boosted shiny odds and can give you a Pokémon with a special background (Precious Paths themed). So hope that you can get a shiny with the said background.
