Ultra Unlock: Steel and Scales

A new event for Pokémon GO has been announced, and it is Ultra Unlock: Steel and Scales. It features the debut of Hondegde and its evolutions, and Shiny Rookidee. The event runs from July 22nd, 10 am until July 27th, 08:00 pm.

What to expect

During the event, you get 4* Catch Stardust, 4* Catch XP, and an increased chance of getting Shiny Bagon and Shiny Beldum in the wild, and Shiny Unown U from raids.

Wild encounters

During the event, you will find Magnemite, Dratini, Aron, Bagon*, Beldum*, Ferroseed, Noibat, Rookidee, Axew, and Goomy. * means boosted odds.

Raids

Unown U*, Gible, Klink, Deino, and Honedge will appear in 1 star raids. While in 3 star raids, you will find Skarmory, Bisharp, Dragalge, and Turtonator. All can be shiny; those with * have boosted odds.

Collection Challenge

There will be collection challenges that give out XP, Stardust, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon.

Go Battle League

Honedge will be available in GO Battle League starting at Rank 6, appearing more frequently in the premium track. After the event, it will be available from Rank 16.
