Steel Skyline

A new event for Pokémon GO has been announced, and it is Steel Skyline. It features the debut of Duraludon and its shiny. The event runs from Sept 30th, 10 am until Oct 7th, 08:00 pm.

What to expect

During the event, there will be Global Challenges and you will get some rewards after completing these. The Challenges are spilt into 3 levels and the rewards for each level goes as followed:

Level 1 Reward

• Additional Candy for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice, Great, and Excellent Throws

• Increased chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for catching Pokémon with Nice, Great, and Excellent Throws

Level 2 Reward

• Additional 5,000 XP from winning raids

Level 3 Reward

• One guaranteed Rare Candy XL from winning in-person Max Battles

Wild encounters

During the event, you will find Alolan Diglett, Magnemite, Grimer, Alolan Grimer, Porygon, Aron, Bronzor, Trubbish, Klink, Axew, Togedemaru, Galarian Meowth, Skarmory and Mawile will spawn in the wild.

Max Battles

Drilbur & Rookidee will be in 1 Star Max Battles. Beldum will be in 3 Star Max Battles. Dynamax Duraludon will be available in 4 Star Max Battles.

Research

There will be a timed research that gives out XP, a Magnetic Lure Module, Stardust, and encounters with event pokemon. A paid timed research can be bought as well, and it gives out Max particles, Stardust, encounter with Dynamax Duraludon, and more.
