Spring into Spring 2025

The next announced event in Pokemon Go is Spring Into Spring, featuring the debut of Gossifleur, the Flowering Pokemon, and its evolution Eldegoss, the Cotton Bloom Pokemon. They are grass type Pokemon introduced in Generation 8 in the Galar Region. It runs from Apr 9th at 10:00 am/10:00 local time and ends on Apr 14th at 08:00 pm/20:00 local time.

What to expect during the event

During the event, you get 2x lucky egg duration, 2x candy from hatching eggs, a boosted chance of encountering shiny Remoraid and shiny Flecthling, and half the distance when an egg is placed in an incubator during the event.

Wild Encounters

During the event, Remoraid, Flecthling, and Gossifleur will spawn in the wild. Gossifleur can not be shiny. Certain Pokemon will spawn depending on the date, and that goes as follows:

April 9 at 10:00 a.m. – April 10 at 11:59 p.m. local time

Marill, Lotad, Ducklett, and Dewpider. Lapras is a rare spawn

April 11 at 12:00 a.m. – April 12 at 11:59 p.m. local time

Vulpix, Ponyta, Numel, and Litleo. Hisuian Growlithe is a rare spawn

April 13 at 12:00 a.m. – April 14 at 8:00 p.m. local time

Oddish, Hoppip, Roselia, and Cherubi. Alolan Exeggutor is a rare spawn

Eggs

During the event, in 2km eggs, you will find Magby, Budew, and Mantyke. While in 5km eggs, you will find Remoraid, Fletchling, and Gossifleur. All can be shiny except for Gossifleur.

Research

During the event, there will be a paid timed research to get a Lucky egg, two super incubators, 5k XP, and encounters with Remoraid, Fletchling, and Gossifleur. It costs $2 or what it gets converted to your currency. There will be some Collection Challenges again during the event. You can get XP, Stardust, and encounters with event-themed Pokemon.
