Shelmet & Karrablast Com Day

The next Pokemon Go community day is around the corner. This time the featured pokemon are Shelmet and Karrablast. The community day is on Feb 9th and starts on 02:00pm/14:00 local time, and ends on 05:00pm/17:00 local time.

What is boosted during the event?

During the event, you get 3* Catch Experience, 2* Catch Candy and double the chance of getting XL Candy. Incense and Lure modules last 3 hours long during the event. Special moves can be gotten upon evolution during the event. Escavalier gets Razor Shell and Accelgor gets Energy Ball.

Research

Before and the day of, you can buy a special research ticket that gives you extra research. It usually costs $1-$2 per ticket or coverted into your country's currency. During and after the day, you will have timed research that gives out rewards as well. Both researches have boosted shiny odds and can give you a pokemon with a special background (the dual destinies background). So hope that you can get a shiny with said background.
