The next and second-to-last event for Dual Destiny in Pokemon Go has been announced: Road To Unova. It will run from Feb 24th at 10:00 pm/10:00 local time until Mar 1st at 08:00 pm/20:00 local time.

What to expect during the event

During the event, you will have half the egg hatch distance when placing an incubator during the event, the remote raid pass limit gets expanded to 20 from Monday to Friday, and during the weekend it is unlimited due to the Go Tour.

Tour Pass

When the event starts, everyone gets access to the Tour Pass. It is a task pass where you do certain tasks and gain points from the tasks. There is an upgrade to it called Tour Pass Deluxe, which costs real money. At the moment, we do not know how much progress it gives. Tour Pass Deluxe will cost $14,99, or what it converts to your currency. If you buy it, then you get an encounter with Victini, the Victory Pokemon, and you get access to a new item called Lucky Trinket. When used, it makes one of your friends into a lucky friend. The friend in question needs to be a Great Friend or above to be turned into a Lucky Friend. The Lucky Trinket will disappear when the event is over, even if you get it at the last second.

Masterwork Research

During the event, you can buy a Masterwork Research for Shiny Meloetta for $4,99 or what it converts to your currency. This research does not expire and can only be bought once.
