Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: Kommo-o 7 Star Raid Guide

The latest 7-star raid is out, and it is Kommo-o with Fighting Tera type. It runs from July 11th, Midnight UTC, until July 13th, 11:59 pm/23:59 UTC. There will be a second run the following week during the same timeframe

Notes:

You can only catch one per savefile, meaning you can not catch more Kommo-o from the raid. Kommo-o will have perfect IVs in all stats and the mightiest mark, which only 7 star raid mons have. You can not shiny hunt it, as it is coded never to appear shiny.

How to get the raids on your map

1. Go to Poke Portal, then Mystery Gift

2. Click on Poke Portal News, then connect to the Internet

3. After a while, you will get a pop-up saying you are up to date

4. Check your map and look for Tera raids with sparkles around them

Second round info

Blissey Raids return during the second week, which has a lot of candy and Tera shards.

How to defeat Kommo-o

Here is the setup to defeat Fighting Tera Kommo-o:

Slowbro @ Shell Bell

Ability: Regenerator

Tera Type: Psychic

EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Sp.Atk

Modest Nature

- Skill Swap (TM098)

- Iron Defense (TM104)

- Nasty Plot (TM140)

- Stored Power (TM041)

Ideal mon to have as an NPC is an intimidator due to the omniboost at the start. Iron Head will be used more at the end, so you might get a flinch here and there

Turn 1: Skill Swap (Shield goes up here). Turn 2: Iron Def. Turn 3: Heal Cheer. Turn 4: Nasty Plot.

Turn 5: Stored Power. Turn 6: Nasty Plot. Turn 7-8: Stored Power. Turn 9: Nasty Plot.

If you were not fast enough, it will reset your stats here. Just skip stored power and setup as said, but dont tera until you use SP again. If it did not reset here, it will reset after using SP with Tera.

Turn 10: Tera Stored Power. Turn 11: Iron Def. Turn 12-14: Nasty Plot. Turn 15: Stored Power.
