Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: Baxcalibur 7 Star Raid Guide

The latest 7-star raid is out, and it is Baxcalibur with Ice Tera type. It runs from June 20th, Midnight UTC, until June 22nd, 11:59 pm/23:59 UTC. There will be a second run the following week during the same timeframe

Notes:

You can only catch one per savefile, meaning you can not catch more Baxcalibur from the raid. Baxcalibur will have perfect IVs in all stats and the mightiest mark, which only 7 star raid mons have. You can not shiny hunt it, as it is coded never to appear shiny.

How to get the raids on your map

1. Go to Poke Portal, then Mystery Gift

2. Click on Poke Portal News, then connect to the Internet

3. After a while, you will get a pop-up saying you are up to date

4. Check your map and look for Tera raids with sparkles around them

Second round info

Blissey Raids return during the second week, which has a lot of candy and Tera shards.

How to defeat Baxcalibur

Here is the setup to defeat Ice Tera Baxcalibur:

Orthworm @ Shell Bell

Ability: Earth Eater

Tera Type: Fighting

EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Speed

Impish Nature

- Iron Defense (Level Up)

- Body Press (TM089 + PP Up'd)

- Mud-Slap (Level up)

Ideal mon to have as a NPC is an intimidator, but not a fire type one. Bax got Thermal Exchange, which increases its attack by 1 and can not be burned.

Turn 1-3: Iron def. Turn 4-6: Mud-Slap. It will remove our stats here, so we have to do Iron Def again. DO NOT TERA YET.

Turn 7-9: Iron Def. Turn 10-15: Tera Body Press. It will remove stats again here, basically right after removing its shield or right before, depending on the damage done. So do 3x Iron def again, then do a body press. Then it will remove the stats again for the final time. Do 3x iron def and then spam body press.
