Pokémon Pokopia Celebration Event

A new event for Pokémon GO has been announced, and it's called 'Pokémon Pokopia Celebration Event'. The event runs from Mar 10th, 10 am, until Mar 16th, 08:00 pm. This celebrates the release of Pokopia.

What to expect

During the event, Ditto will be spawning as various Pokémon in the event. Ditto gets two new event forms: Ditto wearing a hat and Ditto wearing a cap. There will also be 2* Experience for Spinning PokéStops and an increased chance of Shiny Sudowoodo and Shiny Zorua.

Wild encounters

During the event, you will find Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, Sudowoodo, and Zorua in the wild.

Raids

Lapras, Snorlax, and Dragonite will be in 3 Star Raids.

Research

There will be free Timed Research to get Stardust, encounters with event Pokémon, and more. There will also be Collection Challenges to get encounters with event Pokémon and Costume Pokémon.

Clothing & Stickers

There will be a Ditto Eye Mask avatar item. As well, there will also be four Pokémon Pokopia stickers featuring Ditto and Bulbasaur, Mosslax, Peakychu, and Professor Tangrowth.
