Pokémon Horizons Celebration Event

The next announced event in Pokémon Go is the Pokémon Horizons Celebration Event, featuring the debut of Tinkatink, the Metalsmith Pokémon, Tinkatuff, the Hammer Pokemon, and their final evolution, Tinkaton, the Hammer Pokemon. These are fairy-steel-type Pokemon introduced in Generation 9 in the Paldea Region. Floragato with Liko's Hat makes its debut as well. The event runs from Apr 16th at 10:00 am/10:00 local time and ends on Apr 22th at 08:00 pm/20:00 local time.

What to expect during the event

Team Go Rocket Ballons will appear more frequently. Eggs that are put in incubators during the event will have halved distance. You have a better chance at getting Shiny Pikachu wearing Cap's Hat and Shiny Floragato wearing Liko's Hat.

Eggs

In 7km eggs, you will find Elekid, Hatenna, Charcadet, and Tinkatink. After the event is done, Tinkatink will appear in 10km eggs instead.

Wild Encounters

During the event, you will find Quagsire, Shuckle, Slugma, Nosepass, Snorunt, Sprigatito, Floragato, Fuecoco, Quaxly, Pawmi, and Captain Pikachu. All can be shiny except for Quagsire, Quaxly, and Pawmi.

Raids

In 1 star raids, you will find Captain Pikachu, Chansey, and Rockruff. While in 3 star raids, you will find Charizard, Alolan Muk, Metagross, and Liko's Floragato. All can be shiny except for Alolan Muk and Metagross.

Research

During the event, there will be a free timed research that will give out encounters with event Pokémon, Stardust, and XP. There will also be a paid timed research which gives out encounters with Tinkatink, incubator, pose with Tinkaton's Hammer and more.
