Pokémon GO Wild Area 2025

The next Wild Area event has been announced. It runs first through Nagasaki, Japan, on November 7th - 9th, and then globally one week later on November 15th - 16th. These events add Impidimp into the game alongside Shiny Impidimp, Shiny Hatenna, Shadow Darkrai, and Shiny Unown W.

Raids

Shadow Cresselia will be in 5 Star Raids on Saturday and will be able to be Shiny.

Shadow Darkrai will be in 5 Star Raids on Sunday and will be able to be Shiny.

Max Battles

Gigantamax Grimmsnarl will be in 6 star Max Battles.

Wild Encounters

Spawns will vary by hour: Lurking Dark Hour and Fanciful Fairy Hour

• In Lurking Dark Hour, Alolan Meowth, Alolan Grimer, Gastly, Hoothoot, Murkrow, Sneasel, Houndour, Poochyena, Galarian Zigzagoon, Seedot, Nincada, Cacnea, Kricketot, Stunky, Skorupi, Scraggy, Zorua, Foongus, Deino, Inkay, Phantump, Impidimp, and Dreepy will spawn in the wild

• In Fanciful Fairy Hour, Clefairy, Alolan Vulpix, Jigglupuf, Galarian Ponyta, Chansey, Togetic, Marill, Snubbull, Ralts, Skitty, Swablu, Feebas, Cherubi, Audino, Cottonee, Espurr, Dedenne, Klefki, Popplio, Cutiefly, Hatenna, Impidimp, and Smoliv will spawn in the wild

Mighty Pokémon will return. As before, they have higher stats, are more likely to be XL or XXL, and are harder to catch.

• On Saturday, Wigglytuff, Galarian Rapidash, Tyranitar, Mawile, Absol, Golurk, Hatterene, Obstagoon, and Meowscarada can spawn as Mighty Pokémon.

• On Sunday, Alolan Ninetales, Galarian Weezing, Granbull, Houndoom, Gardevoir, Honchkrow, Garchomp, Drapion, and Weavile can spawn as Mighty Pokémon.

Eggs

Mime Jr., Sandile, Pawniard, Carbink, Impidimp, and Tinkatink will be in 5km eggs

Raids

During the event, Bewear wearing a wilderness cape will be in raids.

Incense spawns

Unown D, I, L, and W will spawn on Incense for ticketed trainers, alongside Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf as Mighty Pokémon

Research

During the event, there will be a special research that gives out an encounter with Gigantamax Grimmsnarl.

There will be a ticket to purchase, which gives a Special Research that has you choose a path to become an expert on Dark or Fairy-type Pokémon. All players will get up to 3 Free Raid Passes a day, a Max Particle Limit of 1600, and three Snapshot Encounters. Ticketed players will have increased Shiny Chance, 3,200 Max Particle Limit, increased Max Particles from Power Spots, 3/4 Max Particle Cost for powering up and unlocking Max Moves, 6 free Raid Passes a day, 2* Catch Candy, 50% Incubator Distance, 2 hour Lure Modules and 6 Snapshot encounters, as well as up to 6 Special Trades a Day and 50% Stardust Cost
