Pokémon Go: Pokémon 30th Anniversary

A new event for Pokémon GO has been announced, and it's called 'Pokémon 30th Anniversary'. The event runs from Mar 3rd, 10 am, until Mar 9th, 08:00 pm. This celebrates Pokémon's 30th Anniversary.

What to expect

During the event, what Pokémon will spawn, be in raids, etc., will be different during the week and the weekend. Basically, GO Tour over again, but all at once. During the weekend, it is called All Out. There will be a GO pass featuring Mewtwo.

Wild encounters

During the event, you will find all Pokémon from Kanto except for Mewtwo and Mew. Regionals are still regionals during the event. During All Out, you will be able to find all Pokémon that have been introduced to Go so far in the wild, but only in their habitats. You will not find Mewtwo, Smeargle, Shedinja, Kecleon, Giratina, Zoroark, Larvesta, Volcarona, Scatterbug, Spewpa, Vivillon, Zygarde, Mudbray, Mudsdale, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Morpeko, Eternatus, Kubfu, Urshifu, Maushold, Dudunsparce, Gimmighoul, and Gholdengo. Costume forms will not appear in the wild, and if a pokemon got multiple forms, then not all forms will spawn in the wild as well. Certain Pokémon will still be regionals or only hatch from eggs.

Raids

Pikachu wearing Red's Hat and Pikachu wearing Leaf's Hat will be in 1-star raids. The final evolutions of the Kanto Starters will be in 3 star raids. During All Out, the costume Pikachus from GO Tour returns in 1-star raids. In 5-star raids, you will find Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Deoxys (Normal), Darkrai, Genesect (No Drive), Nihilego, Buzzwole (Americas and Greenland), Pheromosa (Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India), Xurkitree (Asia-Pacific), Celesteela (Southern Hemisphere), Kartana (Northern Hemisphere), Guzzlord, Stakataka (Eastern Hemisphere), Blacephalon (Western Hemisphere), and Necrozma. All can be shiny.

Eggs

Pichu, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Togepi, Tyrogue, Smoochum, Elekid, Magby, Azurill, Wynaut, Budew, Chingling, Bonsly, Mime Jr., Happiny, Munchlax, Riolu, Mantyke, and Toxel. Mime Jr. is still a regional.

GO Pass

During the event, there will be a GO Pass. Just all passes before, there will be a free and a paid version. The featured Pokémon is Mewtwo, and you get encounters with Pokémon from the Kanto region. If you buy the deluxe version, then you get more encounters, including the legendary birds, and more goodies. There will be tier bonuses from the Pass. Tier 1 is 2x catch candy, 3x if you got deluxe. Tier 2 is 2x Catch XP, 3x if you got deluxe.
