Pokémon GO New Level System News

We have gotten info about the new level system coming to Pokémon GO on October 15th.

What we knew already

There will be a rebalance of the levels, with all players increasing in level up to Level 70, with Level 71 to Level 80 needing additional research tasks to be completed to get it.

What is coming

All special level-up rewards will be made available retroactively for players up to their new level. Alongside this, there will be a new Daily Adventure Egg and its own Incubator. This will be available once per day and hatches after walking 1km. It will not count towards the current Egg Storage. Each egg will offer 10,000 Experience and be available from Level 15.

There will be numerous avatar items available: Level 25: Poké Ball Cap, Level 30: Poké Ball Shoes, Level 35: Poké Ball Jacket, Level 40: Great Ball Cap, Level 45: Great Ball Shoes, Level 50: Great Ball Jacket, Level 55: Ultra Ball Cap, Level 60: Ultra Ball Shoes, Level 65: Ultra Ball Jacket, Level 71: Level 71 Shoes, Level 73: Level 73 Shades, Level 75: Level 75 Pants, Level 77: Level 77 Pose, Level 79: Level 79 Hairstyle (Short) and Level 79 Hairstyle (Long), Level 80: Level 80 Jacket.
