Pokémon Go: Mega Camerupt Raid Day

Next Mega Raid Day is here; it is time for Mega Camerupt. It runs on Sept 28th from 02:00 pm/14:00 local time until 05:00 pm/17:00 local time.

What to expect during the event

The Remote Raid Pass limit will be raised to 20 between Sept 27th, 05:00 pm/17:00 PDT, until Sept 28th, 08:00 pm/20:00 PDT. You will get 5 additional free raid passes from spinning the photo discs at Gyms, making it a total of 6 free passes. There is an increased chance of getting Shiny Camerupt from the raids.

Event ticket

You can buy a ticket for the event to get more stuff during the event. The ticket costs $5, or what it gets converted to your currency. With the ticket, you get 8 more additional raid passes (a total of 14), an increased chance of getting XL Candy from raids, 50% more XP from raids, and 2x Stardust from raids. These bonuses are only applied when the event happens locally.

Research

There will be a timed research during the event, and the rewards are as follows: 10k Stardust, 1k Stardust from completing a raid (2k Stardust in total, or 3k with ticket), and more!

Difference in appearance (Normal vs Shiny)

Here is the difference between its normal version and its shiny version. (Shiny Camerupt only appears in the catch screen. You can not reset raids to fight a shiny version)
