Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Tyranitar 7 Star Raid Guide

The latest 7 star raid is out, and it is Tyranitar with Ghost tera type. It runs from March 28th Midnight UTC until March 30th 11:59 pm/23:59 UTC. There will be a second run the following week during the same timeframe

Notes:

You can only catch one per savefile, meaning you can not catch more Tyranitars from the raid. Tyranitar will have perfect IVs in all stats and the mightiest mark, which only 7 star raid mons have. You can not shiny hunt it as it is coded to never appear shiny.

How to get the raids on your map

1. Go to Poke Portal, then Mystery Gift

2. Click on Poke Portal News, then connect to the Internet

3. After a while, you will get a pop-up saying you are up to date

4. Check your map and look for tera raids with sparkles around them

Blissey Raids return during the second week, which has a lot of candy and tera shards.

How to defeat Tyranitar

Here is the setup to defeat Ghost Tera Tyranitar:

Krookodile @ Shell Bell

Ability: Anger Point

Tera Type: Dark

EVs: 252 ATK / 252 Def / 4 HP

Modest Nature

IVs: 0 Sp. Atk

• Power Trip

• Foul Play

• Breaking Swipe

• Taunt

Turn 1-3: Breaking Swipe Turn 4: Taunt. Here it will remove our stats. Before the next turn, you will likely die or live on very low HP. Its shield should come up and remove its negative stats. Turn 5: Def Cheer. Turn 6+: Tera Foul Play. Use Foul Play until you get hit with a crit, which can happen at any point. After getting hit with a crit, use Power Trip for the rest of the fight.
