Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Skeledirge 7 Star Raid Guide

The latest 7 star raid is out, and it is Skeledirge with fire tera type. This means you can finally get the Fuecoco line in any balls.

Notes:

You can only catch one per savefile, meaning you can not catch more Skeledirges from the raid. Skeledirge will have perfect IVs in all stats and the mightiest mark, which only 7 star raid mons have. You can not shiny hunt it as it is coded to never appear shiny.

How to get the raids on your map

1. Go to Poke Portal, then Mystery Gift

2. Click on Poke Portal News, then connect to the Internet

3. After a while, you will get a pop-up saying you are up to date

4. Check your map and look for tera raids with sparkles around them

How to defeat Skeledirge

Due to its ability and moveset, finding a Pokemon with the same tera type as their typing is hard. People say that legends and mythicals are the only way to beat it, but fear not, because we have a mon that works against Skeledirge and its ability. We are using this setup for the raid:

Kommo-o @ Shell Bell

Ability: Bulletproof

Tera Type: Ground

EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 SpD

Adamant Nature

• Bulldoze (TM028)

• Throat Chop (TM221)

• Screech (level up)

• Earthquake (TM149)

Make sure that there is no Arboliva NPC when doing the raid. It will lower our attacks and heal Skeledirge. If you get hit with both moves at turn 0, then it is likely that you will die before you can tera. The shield can come up after turn 5 if you have NPCs that also deal physical damage. That means you only get -4 when it is up. So here you have to do the Throat Chop-EQ combo a bit more due to not having -6. When the shield is gone, just follow the same pattern in the turns under here for the rest of the raid.

Turn 1,3,5: Throat Chop. Turn 2,4,6: Screech. After this, its shield should come up and should remove your stats and ability.

Turn 7: Throat Chop. Turn 8: Tera with Earthquake. Turn 9: Throat Chop. Turn 10: Earthquake. The shield should be gone after this and it removes its negative stats.

Turn 11,13,15: Throat Chop. Turn 12,14,16: Screech. Then spam Earthquake until the battle is over.
