Pokemon GO: Powerful Potential

The next event in Pokemon GO and the first for Might and Mastery, and it is called Powerful Potential. It runs from March 5th 10:00 am/10:00 local time until March 10th 08:00 pm/20:00 local time.

What to expect during the event

A special research that includes Kubfu will be introduced at the start of the event. Shiny Charcadet and its evolutions can be gotten after the event starts. Charcadet will be in all eggs types except for 12km eggs, and there will be 50% hatch distance during the event. There will be a timed research that features an encounter with Charcadet and a bonus 25% hatch distance.

Fuzzy Fighter

A paid research can be bought, and it will give out 1 Incense, 2 premium battle passes, 1 star piece, encounters with seasonal themed pokemon, encounters with Kubfu and more.

Field Research encounters

Alolan Raichu, Hisuian Typhlosion, Sableye, Gothita, Solosis and Sinistea will be in field research.

Max Battles

The Galar starters will appear in 1 star battles, while Gigantamax forms of the kanto starters will appear in 6 star battles. Only the kanto starters can be shiny. This happens on March 8th-9th

Raid Battles

Gothita, Solosis and Sinistea appear in 1 star raids, while Alolan Raichu, Hisuian Typhlosion and Sableye appear in 3 star raids. All can be shiny except for Sinistea.
