Pokemon Go: Festival Of Colors

The next event in Go has been announced, and it is Festival Of Colors. It features the debut of Shiny Bruxish. The event starts on March 13th 10:00 am/10:00 local time and ends on March 17th 08:00 pm/20:00 local time.

What to expect during the event

During the event, Shiny Smeargle can appear when taking a snapshot in-game. Lure modules last 3 hours, while incenses last only 2 hours. Bruxish appears more when an incense is on.

Research

There will be a timed research during the event that gives out an incense, 4 rare candies, and encounters with event pokemon. A paid timed research can be bought for $2 or what it is when converted to your currency, and it will give out 2 lure modules, 4 incenses, 2k stardust and encounters with Bruxish.

Wild Encounters

During the event, Drowzee, Magikarp, Aipom, Natu, Meditite, Dwebble, Flabebe and Bruxish appear in the wild. All can be shiny, and if you are lucky, you might encounter white-flower and/or orange-flower Flabebe.

Raid battles

Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon will appear in 3 star raids. Tapu Koko appears in 5 star raids, and Mega Swampert appear in Mega raids. Only Tapu Koko and Swampert can be shiny.
