March 6th 2025

Some details about Pokémon Go Fest have been announced. This year, Go Fest will introduce us to Volcanion, Crowned Sword Zacian, and Crowned Shield Zamazenta.

Locations

Before Global Go Fest, there are different Go Fests in 3 different areas. The first one will be held in Osaka, Japan, from May 29th until June 1st. After that, Jersey City, New Jersey, USA, from June 6th until June 8th. Lastly, in Paris, France, from June 13th until June 15th. Global will be held on June 28th and June 29th.

Global ticket

A ticket for Global can be bought soon, and if you buy it before April 15th and play between April 8th and April 15th, you will get a timed research featuring an encounter with Skiddo.

Raids

In 1 star raids, you will find Frigibax, and in 3 star raids, you will find an unknown Pokémon. This is likely a new Pokémon joining Go before Fest starts. Lastly, in 5 star raids on Saturday, you will find Crowned Shield Zamazenta, and in 5 star raids on Sunday, you will find Crowned Sword Zacian.

Wild Encounters

There will be 4 different habitats during Go Fest, likely 2 hours split into 2 different time slots. Some Pokémon will spawn depending on the day. Here is what you can expect on each day and in each habitat.

Saturday Spawns

You will find Chansey, Skarmory, Larvitar, Shieldon, Shelmet, Vullaby, Oranguru, and Goomy in the wild. Unown spelling out SHIELD will spawn when an incense is on.

Sunday Spawns

You will find Galarian Farfetch'd. Cubone, Ralts, Karrablast, Pawniard, Deino, Passimian, and Jangmo-o in the wild. Unown spelling out SWORD will spawn when an incense is on.

Moonless Volcano habitat Spawns

You will find Houndour, Numel, Duskull, Gothita, Golett, Fletchling, Flabebe, Skrelp, Carbink, and Fuecoco in the wild. Torkoal will spawn when an incense is on.

Galvanic Dojo habitat Spawns

You will find Machop, Electabuzz, Teddiursa, Scraggy, Chespin, Flabebe Yellow Flower, Pancham, Crabrawler, and Mienfoo in the wild. Skiddo will spawn when an incense is on.

Hypnotic Tundra habitat Spawns

You will find Alolan Sandshrew, Swinub, Spheal, Piplup, Snover, Munna, Elgyem, Flabebe Blue Flower, Bergmite, and Frigibax in the wild. Pachirisu will spawn when an incense is on.

Fae Swamp habitat Spawns

You will find Clefairy, Tentacool, Mawile, Gulpin, Venipede, Popplio, Mareanie, Morelull, Togetic, and Flabebe Orange Flower in the wild. Klefki will spawn when an incense is on.

We have now learned how Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta work during Go Fest and forward. Once you beat them in raids, you will get Crowned Sword energy or Crowned Shield energy, depending on who you defeat. Once you have 1k energy, you can make your Zacian learn Behemoth Blade and your Zamazenta Behemoth Bash if they know the move Iron Head. Lastly, despite not being able to dynamax, they can be used in Max Battles, and their move will act like a max move. Aka, you can level up the move to make it more powerful in max battles.

More news has dropped for Go Fest. During the events, you can get Falinks with a train outfit and Pikachu in six different costumes. The Pikachus look to feature a suit on each costume, with 3 main colors: Red, Blue, and Yellow.

June 16th 2025

Teased during this year's NAIC, it has been confirmed that Hyper Training is coming to Pokémon Go during Go Fest. Starting with the Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Global Pass, which goes live during the Ancients Recovered event on June 23rd, Gold Bottle Caps will be available in certain events, passes, and more in the future. With the bottle caps, you can select which stats you want with a slider, and by completing tasks, you will be able to hit those new IV stats. Attack tasks require you to battle with it while it's your buddy. Defense tasks require you to play, explore, and catch with it as your buddy. HP requires you to explore by spinning Pokéstops, earning candy, and more, as your buddy. Once you start the training, you have 365 days to complete it. Shadow Pokémon cannot be Hyper Trained. The GO Pass will feature a random encounter with Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Regieleki, or Regidrago with a special background, encounters with dapper Pikachu and other Pokémon, experience, Stardust, Poké Balls, Candy, and more.

Players who pay for the Deluxe pass will get the Gold Bottle Cap, a Zacian Mask, a Zamazenta Mask, more items, including Incense, Lucky Egg, Incubators, Lure Modules, and more, as well as Candy XL. There are milestones for every 10 levels of the pass, and as soon as you buy the Deluxe version, you get 50% Egg Distance. Here are some rewards you should expect from the Pass:

Rank 20: 2× Hatch Candy

Rank 30: One Candy XL from 5 Star Raid Battles.

Rank 40: 2× Hatch Stardust.

Rank 70: 5,000 additional XP from Raid Battles.
