Pokemon Go: Deep Depths

The next announced event in Pokemon Go is Deep Depths, and it features the debut of Nickit, the Fox Pokemon, and its evolution Thievul, the Fox Pokemon. They are dark type pokemon that was introduced in Generation 8 in the Galar Region. It runs from Mar 19th at 10:00 am/10:00 local time and ends on Mar 24th 08:00 pm/20:00 local time.

What to expect during the event

Incubator distance will be 50% during the event. Boosted chance at getting Shiny Clauncher. And, the debut of Nickit and Thievul.

Research

There will be a timed research that gives out 10 Kubfu Candy, a Mysterious Component, event pokemon encounters and 2x catch stardust after completion. A paid timed research can be bought for $2 or what it converts to your currency, and it will give out encounters with Clauncher and Nickit, 2 Super Incubators and a star piece. As well a collection challenge that includes catching and evolving pokemon, upon completion you will get XP, stardust and encounters with event pokemon.

Wild Encounters

During the event you will find Murkrow, Sneasel, Corphish, Clamperl, Purrloin, Female Frillish, Clauncher and Nickit in the wild. Every pokemon can be shiny, except for Nickit.

Eggs

During the event, 7 km eggs will have different pokemon in them. Galarian Corsola, Pawniard, Clauncher and Nickit will be in 7 km eggs.
