Pawmi Com Day

The next Pokémon Go community day has been announced. This time, the featured Pokémon is Pawmi. The community day is on May 11th, starting at 02:00 pm/14:00 local time and ending at 05:00 pm/17:00 local time.

What is boosted during the event?

During the event, you get 2* Catch Candy, and 2* chance of getting XL Candy. Incense and Lure modules last 3 hours during the event. Pawmot will have Brick Break as its move during the event until May 18th. One additional special trade is given during the event, making it a total of 2 special trades for the day. The Stardust cost for trades will be halved, aka 50% less. Normally, Pawmo needs to walk 25km while being a buddy to evolve. During this event, you will only need to walk 1km to evolve it.

Research

Before and on the day of, you can buy a special research ticket that gives you extra research. It usually costs $1-$2 per ticket or is converted into your country's currency. During and after the day, you will have timed research that gives out rewards as well. Both pieces of research have boosted shiny odds and can give you a Pokémon with a special background (Might and Mastery themed). So hope that you can get a shiny with the said background.
