Munchlax Hatch Day

The next Pokémon Go hatch day has been announced. This time, the featured Pokémon is Munchlax. The hatch day is on Aug 9th, starting at 02:00 pm/14:00 local time and ending at 05:00 pm/17:00 local time.

What is boosted during the event?

During the event, you get 2x hatch candy, 2km eggs appear more from pokestops, and hatch distance is halved. You have an increased chance of hatching a shiny Munchlax. If you have the paid timed research, you will also receive 2x hatch Stardust during the event.

Research

During the event, there will be a free timed research that gives you XP and an incubator. There will also be a paid timed research, which also gives you XP and a super incubator. You will also get a star piece as a reward. It usually costs $2 or is converted into your country's currency.
