Harvest Festival

A new event for Pokémon GO has been announced, and it is Harvest Festival. The event runs from Oct 10th, 10 am until Oct 16th, 08:00 pm, and features the debut of Dipplin, and its evolution, Hydrapple.

What to expect

During the event, you get 2* Catch Candy for catching Pokémon with pinap and silver pinap berries, and an increased chance of getting a Shiny Pumpkaboo and Shiny Smoliv. Applin needs 200 Applin candies and 20 Syrupy Apples to evolve into Dipplin. For Dipplin to evolve to Hydrapple, you need 400 Applin candies and catch 7 dragon-type Pokémon while it is your buddy.

Wild encounters

During the event, you will find Miltank, Combee, Smoliv, Applin, and more will spawn in the wild.

Research

There will be a paid timed research that gives out 30 Silver Pinap berries, 3 mossy lure modules, encounters with Applin, and more. Purchasing the ticket also increases the chance to receive Berries from a PokéStop, and 2* Mossy Lure Module Duration. There will also be a Collection Challenge to get Stardust, Mossy Lure Module, Syrupy Apples, and encounters with Applin.
