Halloween 2025 Part 1

A new event for Pokémon GO has been announced, and it is Halloween 2025 Part 1. The event runs from Oct 21st, 10 am until Oct 27th, 08:00 pm, and features the debut of Poltchageist, its evolution, Sinistcha, and Shiny Sinistea.

What to expect

During the event, there will be a GO pass that lasts until Nov 2nd. It will give out bonuses at different tiers. Tier 1: 2* Catch Candy (3* if you got the deluxe version). Tier 2: Increased chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for catching Pokémon with Nice, Great, and Excellent Throws. Tier 3 (Free): 2× Candy for transferring Pokémon, increased chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for transferring Pokémon, and 2* catch candy. Tier 3 (Deluxe): 3× Candy for transferring Pokémon, even greater chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for transferring Pokémon, and 3* Catch Candy. In order to evolve Poltchageist, you need 50 Poltchageist Candy.

Wild encounters

During the event, you will find Zorua, Hisuian Zorua, Greavard & Sinistea spawn in the wild. Both Zorua (unovan) and Sinistea can be shiny.

Raids & Shadow Raids

Galarian Yamask, Sinistea, and Poltchageist are in 1 Star Raids.

Alolan Marowak, Hisuian Typhlosion & Hisuian Samurott are in 3 Star Raids.

Yamask and Phantump will be in 1 Star Shadow Raids.

Research

Sableye, Yamask, Zorua, Hisuian Zorua, Litwick, Vullaby, and Phantump will be in Field Research.
