Golden Week Outbreaks

The newest outbreak event has been announced, and they have boosted shiny odds to 1/200 or 0.5%. The theme is Golden, meaning the shiny version is golden like color.

Date, Time, and Placement

The outbreaks go live on Wednesday, the 30th, at midnight UTC and last until 23:59/11:59 pm UTC on May 8th.

Paldea

In Paldea, you will find Wiglett outbreaks. It spawns on anything deemed as land. This can be anywhere on a mountain, desert, grass area, etc.

Kitakami

In Kitakami, you will find Growlithe outbreaks. Its spawn area is the same as Wiglett, but in Kitakami only.

Blueberry

In Blueberry, you will find Swablu outbreaks. It spawns in the air, so it could spawn anywhere on the map. Like above the water.

How to get the outbreaks on your map

1. Go to Poke Portal, then Mystery Gift

2. Click on Poke Portal News, then connect to the Internet

3. After a while, you will get a pop-up saying you are up to date

4. Check your map and look for yellow sparkle outbreaks
