Crown Clash: Taken Over

The next announced event in Pokémon Go is Crown Clash: Taken Over, featuring the debut of Shadow Dialga. It runs from May 14th at 10:00 am/10:00 local time and ends on May 18th at 08:00 pm/20:00 local time.
What to expect
During the event, Team Go Rocket grunts will appear more frequently on PokeStops, and Balloons will spawn more often. You can remove Frustation from Shadow Pokémon with Charged TMs, and Pokémon in Shadow raids will have wider variance in IVs.
New Shadow Pokémon
During the event, you will get Shadow Slakoth, Shadow Inkay, Shadow Tyrunt, and Shadow Amaura from grunts.
Eggs
During the event, in 10km eggs, you will find Larvitar and Pawniard. After the event, they will no longer be locked in 12km eggs and will only appear in 10km eggs going forward.
Raids
During the event, you will find Magnemite, Cyndaquil, Murkrow, and Spoink in 1 star shadow raids. While in 3 star shadow raids, you will find Lapras, Piloswine, and Gurdurr. Only Magnemite, Murkrow, and Lapras can be shiny.
Research
During the event, there will be a paid timed research that gives you a Super Rocket Radar, two premium battle passes, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon, such as Nidoking and Nidoqueen wearing crowns. There will also be a special research given out on the same day and can be claimed until the end of the current season, which is June 3rd, locally morning time.
