Bug Out 2026

The next announced event in Pokemon Go is Bug Out, featuring the debut of Blipbug, and its evolutions Dottler and Orbeetle, and the shiny versions of Sizzliepede and Centiskorch. It runs from Mar 17th at 10:00 am/10:00 local time and ends on Mar 23rd at 08:00 pm/20:00 local time.

What to expect during the event

During this event there will be different Pokémon obtained from Lure Modules durig the event. Paras and Sizzlipede will run on March 17th - 19th. Cutiefly and Sizzlipede will run on March 19th - 21st. Combee and Sizzlipede will run on March 21st - 23rd. There will also be bonuses for hitting the GO Pass milestones. Tier 1: 2* XP for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice Throws or better. Tier 2: 2* Catch Candy, GO Pass Deluxe: 3* Catch Candy

Wild Encounters

During the event, Caterpie, Dwebble, Sizzlipede, Nymble and Scyther will spawn in the wild. Paras, Combee and Cutiefly will have increased odds if they are attracted to a lure module.

Raid battles

In 1 star raids, you will find Blipbug. In 3 star raids, you will find Pinsir, Scizor, and Kleavor. All can be shiny except for Blipbug.

Pass

The GO Pass will run during this event for free with the paid track costing $4.99. This pass includes encounters with Blipbug & event Pokémon, Stardust, Experience, Lure Modules, Great Balls and more. The Deluxe Pass has more encounters, Premium Battle Passes, Lure Modules, Rare Candy XL, Candy XL and more.
