Bug Invasion Outbreaks

The newest outbreak event has been announced, and they have boosted shiny odds to 1/200 or 0.5%. The theme is Bug Invasion, meaning the Pokémon are bug type.

Date, Time, and Placement

The outbreaks go live on Friday, the 30th, at midnight UTC and last until 23:59/11:59 pm UTC on June 1st.

Paldea

In Paldea, you will find Tarountula outbreaks. It spawns on anything deemed as land. This can be anywhere on a mountain, desert, grass area, etc.

Kitakami

In Kitakami, you will find Spinarak outbreaks. Its spawn area is the same as Tarountula, but in Kitakami only.

Blueberry

In Blueberry, you will find Venonat outbreaks. Its spawn area is the same as Tarountula, but at Blueberry only.

How to get the outbreaks on your map

1. Go to Poke Portal, then Mystery Gift

2. Click on Poke Portal News, then connect to the Internet

3. After a while, you will get a pop-up saying you are up to date

4. Check your map and look for yellow sparkle outbreaks
