2025 Pokémon World Championships Celebration event

A new event for Pokémon GO has been announced, and it is the 2025 Pokémon World Championships Celebration event. It features the debut of Pikachu wearing a Worlds 2025 Jacket. The event runs from Aug 15th, 10 am until Aug 17th, 08:00 pm.

What to expect

During the event, there will be a code given out from the championships on day 1, so watch out for the code. It gives a Worlds t-shirt. Pikachu wearing a Worlds 2025 Jacket will have boosted odds. You get 5 special trades per day as well.

Wild encounters

During the event, you will find Nidoran-Female, Mankey, Marill, Paldean Wooper, Spoink, Frillish, Vullaby, Inkay, Rookidee, and Fuecoco in the wild. All can be shiny except for Rookidee

Raids

Pikachu & Honedge will be in 1 Star Raids. Lapras, Dusclops, and Diggersby will be in 3 Star Raids. Only Pikachu and Lapras can be shiny. Pikachu is the event one.

Research

There will be a paid Timed Research to get a Battle Pass, 25,000 Stardust, and encounters with Lickitung, Lapras, Azumarill, Sableye, Swalot, Claydol, Carbink, Guzzlord, and Lokix.

Field Research

Pikachu, Marill, Paldean Wooper, and Honedge will be in Field Research.
